Organic Growth Seeds - Arugula 10g

Arugula sprouts contain dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids which stimulate appetite, aid digestion, detoxify the body, strengthen the immune system, improve blood circulation, and have antibacterial and anticancer properties. Arugula sprouts are also used as an aphrodisiac. They are a source of trace elements such as zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, potassium, sulfur, calcium, iron, as well as vitamins A, C, K, and B. Arugula sprouts have a pleasant taste and can be consumed either cold or warm. They are used in sandwiches, pasta, salads, cheeses, sauces, and as an addition to soups.

Sprout Preparation:

  • Growing sprouts at home is very easy using the Toraf sprouter.
  • Follow the instructions in the user manual.
  • The sprouts are ready for consumption after 3-6 days.
  • The sprouter allows simultaneous cultivation of 3 types of sprouts.

An alternative method for sprout production is sprouting in a jar.

For this, wash the seeds, transfer them to a sterilized container and cover them with warm water. Let them soak for several hours, drain the water, and rinse the seeds. Cover the container with gauze, secure it, and place it in a warm (18-22°C), shaded area. During this time, rinse the sprouts twice a day with water.

The sprouts are ready for consumption when they reach about 1-2 cm in length, after 3-6 days.
