Description

Board Game: Bombastic

Bombastic is a fiery five-minute game, suitable for two players and easy to carry. One player is X and the other is O, in a classic setup. However, the surprises don’t stop there. Nine thick tiles are shuffled and placed face down in a 3×3 grid — 4 of them are X, 4 are O, and the last one is a dangerous bomb ready to explode. Can you find your tiles without causing an explosion?

On your turn, you can:

  • Attempt to reveal three tiles in a row. If they are yours, you win. If you reveal the bomb, you lose. If you reveal your opponent’s tiles, you give away useful information (a wrong move), but the tiles are turned face down again and the game continues.
  • Use one of the two available action cards to help you peek and rearrange the tiles, staying ahead of your opponent.

Only the cleverest player, who uses the action cards wisely (and is not afraid to take risks), will be able to win in Bombastic!
