Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters for Xbox Series X continues Tsubasa’s story with a new narrative based on the “World Youth” saga and supervised by creator Yoichi Takahashi. It features 22 national teams, more than 110 playable characters, and over 150 cinematic scenes showcasing on-field moves. Passing, goalkeeper-versus-striker duels, powerful shots, and spectacular saves are enhanced with new super moves and an updated gameplay system.
In NEW STARS ROUTE mode, players create their own character, join Japan’s national team, and play alongside Tsubasa. Teams and characters from the manga also appear in the game, while the soundtrack features over 100 tracks by Tadayoshi Makino (SpinSolfa). Online play requires an internet connection and an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription, sold separately.
