The Planet Technology WDAP-5100BE outdoor access point supports Wi‑Fi 7 and IEEE 802.11be, 802.11ax, 802.11ac, 802.11a, and 802.11 b/g/n standards. Its maximum combined WLAN speed reaches 5100 Mbps, with 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 4323 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. Its wireless architecture includes 2×2 MIMO at 2.4 GHz and 3×3 MIMO at 5 GHz.

It supports 4096-QAM (EHT), MU-OFDMA, MU-MIMO, MLO (Multi-Link Operation), beamforming, BSS Coloring, and seamless 802.11k/v/r roaming. The aluminum enclosure has an IP65/IP67 rating. Power is supplied via PoE+ (802.3at), with optional 12 V DC power also supported. It can serve up to 256 devices and supports VLAN, AP/Gateway/Repeater/WISP modes, and WPA2/WPA3 and EAP security.
