The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying – Trials of Saruman

Trials of Saruman contains six adventures for The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying, the 5E adaptation of the tabletop role-playing game The One Ring™ based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, where the heroes are sent to serve – or to watch over – the White Wizard Saruman. The adventures take place from the year 2965 up to the early movements of the Tolkien War and can be played individually or as part of a larger story.

Saruman the White is the Lord of Isengard, advisor to kings, master of the magic of the Rings, and the main opponent of the Enemy. His wisdom is great, but his pride is even greater. The story begins before his fall; the betrayal of Isengard has not yet started. Perhaps Saruman's fate is already written, or perhaps the heroes can change the ending and save the White Wizard from corruption. The fate of Saruman – and all of Middle-earth – lies in their hands!
