Installation is done with a drop-in method, meaning it is recessed into the countertop, with the rim slightly protruding. This installation method is the most common and practical for kitchen sinks, as the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, while there are support points underneath for maximum stability. Sealing is achieved with suitable material, such as silicone, applied around the perimeter of the opening.
