The taste is not good, I can’t detect any caramel flavor either. Dissolving it in 250ml as per packaging instructions leaves pockets of powder residue on the bottom of my shaker and gives it an unpleasant thickness. I dissolve it in 500ml and that works much better for me. Honestly, I won’t buy it again, I much prefer Applied Nutrition casein
