Diomedes and Nikolas are twins. However, they are very different from each other and for some reason Diomedes always seems to come second in everything – and he doesn’t know how to change that. In grades, sports, even in playground games, his brother always does better. And as if that wasn’t enough, there is also the school bully who reminds him every day how "small" he feels.

Until one day he dives into the water.

At the pool, for the first time, Diomedes feels differently. His body moves freely, his breath finds a rhythm, and every lap makes him a little stronger. There, in the water, he discovers something very important: that each of us has our own place to shine. And when you start believing in yourself, even the biggest fears become smaller.

The Swimmer is a story about how someone finds the strength they didn’t know they had and gains the courage to face difficulties and overcome the obstacles that keep them from moving forward.
