Description

The digital fever thermometer is a safe and easy-to-use temperature monitoring device, equipped with an LCD screen that is easy to read. The product composition does not contain dangerous substances such as glass or mercury.

It is designed to measure body temperature for people of all ages, making it ideal for use with babies and children.

Main Features:
  • Audio alert at the end of measurement and fever alarm.
  • Two measurement units: °C and °F.
  • Measurement time: 10 seconds (rectal), 20 seconds (oral), and 30 seconds (underarm).
  • Stores the last measured temperature.
  • Automatic shut-off after 10 minutes.
  • Temperature measurement range: 32.0 – 42.9⁰C / (89.6-109.2)⁰F.
  • Measurement accuracy: ±0.1⁰C / 0.2⁰F.
  • Storage/transport temperature: -25 ~ 55⁰C, 95% RH (relative humidity).
  • Power supply: 1 alkaline battery type LR41 1.5V, minimum operating time 100 hours of continuous use.
  • Weight: 13g.

The digital thermometer must be placed correctly to ensure accurate temperature measurement. Important: Do not consume hot or cold drinks, do not exercise, bathe or shower, and do not smoke for 15 minutes before taking a temperature measurement. It has 3 temperature measurement methods:

  • Underarm use (approximate measurement time 23-29 seconds): Placing the thermometer under the armpit allows for a surface temperature measurement, which may differ by 0.5 – 1.5⁰C compared to rectal measurements in adults.
  • Oral use (approximate measurement time 15-19 seconds): There are different heat zones in the mouth. Generally, the oral temperature is 0.3 – 0.8⁰C lower than the rectal temperature.
  • Rectal use (approximate measurement time 9-11 seconds): This method is the most medically accurate, as it closely reflects the body’s core temperature. The tip of the thermometer is carefully inserted into the rectum up to 2 cm.

To achieve the most accurate measurement, place the tip of the thermometer at the base of the tongue. The tip should maintain firm contact with the tissues during measurement and be under the tongue in one of the two posterior heat zones. Keep the mouth closed during measurement and breathe evenly through the nose. Do not eat or drink prior to measurement.

Recommended: The rectal method is the most accurate way to determine the basal temperature. The longer you keep the thermometer in place (up to 3 minutes after the signal), the more accurate the result.

The package includes:

  • Digital thermometer
  • User manual
  • Battery included
