Description

The DDT controller is an electronic device used for operating the pump. The device controls the operation of the pump by monitoring changes in the water pressure in the pipes and the water flow through them. Thanks to the user’s ability to adjust the starting pressure, the device fully replaces traditional pressure switches. The device also provides protection against dry running of the pump.

The intelligent DDT controller is designed to control the pump by starting and stopping the device. Activation depends on the decrease in water pressure in the system below the preset starting pressure of the device and on the flow generated in the pipe where the controller is installed. In practice, the device starts the pump when the faucet or sprinklers are opened and stops about 6 seconds after they are closed.

The device has dry-running protection, meaning that if there is no water, the controller stops the pump to prevent damage. The device can be connected directly to pumps, and the motors do not consume more than 12 A during operation. For most single-phase motors, the power consumption is less than 12 A. The motor power can reach up to 2.2 kW.

The device is designed to operate with clean water without mechanical impurities. The maximum water temperature should be below 80°C. To increase the flexibility of the system, a small expansion tank can be installed on the DDT model.
