• The electronic components of the remote (internal components)

This conversion kit will make the original key look like the new model. You must transfer the electronic components and the immobilizer chip from the original key. The blade of the original key cannot be used, so you will need to cut the new one.

Attention: Once the upgrade kit for the key is received, the electronic components and the immobilizer chip from the original key must be transferred. Then, the new blade will need to be programmed. After that, all the functions of the original key will remain unchanged. Make sure that the original key looks like the old one and pay attention to the shape of the blade and the position of the buttons. Open the existing key, remove the internal unit/chip and transfer it to the new replacement. Reassemble the key by screwing/securing it. Take the key to a locksmith to have it cut.
