The crank arm is primarily made of high-quality aluminum and has been cold-forged using the brand's recognizable Hollowtech II technology. The alloy used in production makes the crank arm lightweight and durable, as well as corrosion-resistant. Thanks to this technology, its weight has been optimized and the perfect stiffness of the component has been ensured.
The 24 mm steel axle is compatible with Shimano bottom bracket bearings, either threaded or press-fit. The Q factor of the Shimano XTR FC-M9220 crank arm is 176 mm, with a chainline of 55 mm, ensuring a comfortable foot position without touching the chainstays, even on bikes with a wider rear triangle.
The crank arm is fully compatible with Shimano SM-CR96 mounts (in all sizes). Bottom bracket components and chainrings are not included in the set.
