Advanced Optical Design & Natural Bokeh

The second generation features a completely redesigned optical layout with 4 aspherical elements and 2 SLD elements to dramatically reduce aberrations and distortion. The new AAC (Advanced Amorphous Coating) reduces reflections, flare, and ghosting, delivering high contrast. Meanwhile, the rounded 11-blade aperture ensures smooth, natural bokeh without color fringing in out-of-focus areas.

Dual HLA AF System & Compact Design

The upgraded autofocus system is powered by Dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) for high speed, precision, and excellent tracking of moving subjects. The floating focus system maintains consistent sharpness from close-ups to infinity, while reduced focus breathing makes video recording easier. It is also 14% smaller and 20% lighter, with dust- and splash-resistant protection.
