The Sangrevores expansion introduces a completely new, nightmarish race of alien enemies to the board game Nemesis: Retaliation. This time, players will not face a Queen, but the mighty "King", an ancient being awakened from centuries of slumber. It all began when a group of scavenger miners discovered a mysterious capsule made of non-human bones, which was transported to the nearest human base for research, triggering the disaster.

This expansion brings to the table a brand-new mechanism that can radically change the semi-cooperative experience of the game. During your encounters with the King or the Blood Spectres, your character runs the risk of transforming. This development can completely overturn your hidden personal objective in the middle of the game, without the other players being certain of your true intentions.

Through specific attacks you receive, you will get special infection cards, which are placed face down next to your secret objective and are visible only to you. Most of the time these cards will remain neutral, but some of them have the power to transform you into a Hemodyne. This secret change of allegiance radically alters your victory conditions, making suspicion among team members reach its peak.

Please note that Nemesis: Retaliation - Sangrevores is not a standalone game. In order to use the new enemy race, infection cards, and hidden conversion mechanic, the Nemesis: Retaliation base board game is required. It is a universal choice for fans of the Nemesis series who are looking for even more intensity, bluffing, and a sci-fi survival horror atmosphere.
