The Celestron X-Cel LX 3x Barlow lens triples the magnification of 1.25″ eyepieces when placed between the eyepiece and the telescope. Its three-element apochromatic optics are fully multi-coated, delivering bright, sharp images with color correction and contrast. It is suitable for short focal length telescopes and for observing the Moon or planets when seeing conditions are good.

The rubberized, ribbed grip helps provide a secure hold, while the internal compression ring keeps the eyepiece in place without scratching it. The barrel is threaded for 1.25″ filters, so you can change eyepieces without removing the filter.
