The Hand of the White Wizard contains six adventures for The One Ring™, the official tabletop role-playing game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, in which heroes are sent to serve – or observe – the White Wizard Saruman. The adventures take place from the year 2965 until the early days of the War of the Ring and can be played individually or as part of a larger story.

Saruman the White is the Lord of Isengard, an advisor to kings, a teacher of the knowledge of the Ring, and the primary antagonist of the Enemy. His wisdom is great, but his pride is even greater. Does the story begin before his fall? Saruman’s treachery has not yet begun. Perhaps Saruman’s doom is already written, or maybe the heroes can change the outcome and save the White Wizard from corruption. Saruman’s fate – and that of all Middle-earth – is in their hands!
