The game is set 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem, starring Sophia, a young pirate and smuggler, who is searching for the truth about her past. )

The story unfolds on the Island of the Minotaur, where Sophia faces deadly trials, crosses dangerous paths, and solves puzzles, while at the same time trying to escape the army pursuing her. The game offers a unique experience, combining action, myth, and destiny, with a new approach to the A Plague Tale universe. Players will have the ability to switch between the Medieval era and the ancient Minoan period, with events from the past affecting the present. Sophia has new abilities, such as the use of swords, daggers, and a grappling hook, while the combat system includes parries, dodges, and attacks, offering a more dynamic and aggressive approach compared to previous titles in the series. )

    I just finished it; it took me 23 hours. I haven't played the previous 2, but I'll definitely buy them! since this one takes place before the other 2.
    The game is really great, with a very good story that has meaning. The music is incredible, especially if someone has a home cinema system like me—they'll really enjoy it! The combat is fine; the upgrades aren't anything crazy, but whatever. Anyone who wants to play a little game and enjoy it should buy it without a second thought!

    Well... I’ve played both previous games in the series, which I really liked. Quite different from its predecessors. We could even say it has nothing to do with them. A decent combat system. Nothing special, but not nonexistent either. The story is okay; at some point the constant puzzles wore me out, and although they’re not very difficult, in some spots where they came one after another, I kept saying, come on, let this be the last one. I finished it, but maybe I also pushed through it because of Greece and because I wanted to support the small studio that made the series. As I read in another comment, Daedalus was African and Theseus didn’t exist because it was Ariadne. All good, moving on.

    Negatives:
    poor combat system and skill upgrades, somewhat boring story and characters, puzzles of childlike difficulty—the game almost insults you, short length.
    Other:
    1) The fact that it has nothing to do with the two previous games in terms of gameplay you know before you buy it, they are not deceiving you.
    2) As if Nolan directed it, the Greeks are not Greek (e.g. Daedalus is African) and Theseus is... a woman... For anyone who cares about these things, for better or worse.
    Conclusion:
    Only when it goes on sale, around 15€ is okay for this game.
