This conversion kit will make the original key resemble the new model. You need to transfer the electronic components and immobilizer chip from the original key. The blade of the original key cannot be used, so a new one must be engraved.

Note: Programming is not required. Open the existing key, remove the internal unit/chip, and transfer it to the new replacement key. Reassemble the key by screwing it back together/securing it. Take the key to a locksmith to cut the blank key.
