The Oerlikon Belinox E316 electrode is rutile, highly alloyed and has a very low carbon content. It is intended for stabilized and non-stabilized chromium-nickel steels, resistant to atmospheric corrosion, of the 18 Cr/8 Ni/2 Mo type. It is resistant to intergranular precipitation when used at temperatures up to 350 °C.

Description & Specifications

The Oerlikon Belinox E316 electrode is rutile, highly alloyed and has a very low carbon content. It is intended for stabilized and non-stabilized chromium-nickel steels, resistant to atmospheric corrosion, of the 18 Cr/8 Ni/2 Mo type. It is resistant to intergranular precipitation when used at temperatures up to 350 °C.

Welding is smooth, with fine ripples and smooth joints. The electrode ignites and restrikes easily, while the slag is easy to remove. It can also be used with small A.C. machines.
