Mercola pool paint is a two-component polyurethane coating suitable for indoor and outdoor swimming pools, water tanks, fountains and other water features. Its formulation provides resistance to water, seawater, cleaning chemicals, UV radiation, mechanical wear and abrasion, as well as adhesion to concrete and metal surfaces. It has a glossy finish.
Apply to suitably prepared surfaces using a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spray gun. Two coats are required on new surfaces. Thin by up to 10% with DIL X 100. Clean tools with DIL X 100, soap and water immediately after use. At 23°C, it is touch-dry in 6–8 hours. Recoat after 24–48 hours and fill with water after 7–14 days.
