The backlit LCD displays the result, warm-up status, countdown, warnings and low-battery indicator. An audible alert is triggered when the reading reaches a warning or danger level.

Warm-up takes 10 seconds, and measurement is completed in less than 5 seconds after exhaling. The device switches off automatically approximately 35 seconds after use and comes with a plastic key ring.
