The YATO YT-44748 conical step drill bit drills holes in metal and building materials at successive diameters from 4 to 32 mm. It is made of HSS 4341 high-speed steel and features a titanium nitride (TiN) coating that increases its service life. The self-centering tip starts drilling on smooth or curved surfaces, while the two spiral flutes remove chips and help dissipate heat.

It produces clean, burr-free edges, and the triangular shank is held securely in the chuck. The maximum cutting thickness is 4 mm.
