What is the role of literature in the world we live in? How is the economic and social crisis in various countries reflected in literature in general, and specifically in the noir novel? How are the issues of identities, migration, and racism mirrored in literature? Are we ready to live in a world without the Internet?

Literature in a Changing World gathers seven of the discussions that took place at the 17th LEA Festival in June 2025. Discussions that became vibrant hives of thought and dialogue, highlighting the relationship of literature with key issues of our time. Documenting these discussions in a book is the beginning of a new effort to create a written memory of the history of the LEA Festival.
