The TIG rods by ESAB Tigrod 316L are made of stainless steel and designed for welding austenitic alloys 18% Cr - 8% Ni and 18% Cr - 10% Ni - 3% Mo. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chlorinated environments, and are suitable for applications with a risk of intergranular corrosion due to their low carbon content.
They are used in chemical and food industry, shipbuilding, and various architectural constructions, ensuring high-quality and long-lasting welds.
