The ESAB OK AristoRod 13.26 welding wire is low-alloy and solid, with no copper coating. It is designed for welding weathering steels such as COR-TEN, Patinax and Dillicor, as well as high-strength steels with a minimum yield strength below 470 MPa, using the GMAW process. Its composition includes 0.84% nickel and 0.30% copper.
It offers smooth feeding, a stable arc and low spatter, even at high currents, and is suitable for mechanized welding. It complies with NACE specifications, with a maximum weld metal hardness of 22 HRC. Mechanical properties depend on the shielding gas: with 80% Ar / 20% CO₂ (M21), the yield strength is 510 MPa, tensile strength is 620 MPa and elongation is 23%; with CO₂ (C1), the corresponding values are 470 MPa, 580 MPa and 25%.
