ESAB Tigrod 316L TIG rods are made of stainless steel, designed for welding austenitic alloys 18% Cr - 8% Ni and 18% Cr - 10% Ni - 3% Mo. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chlorinated environments, and are ideal for applications where there is a risk of intergranular corrosion, thanks to their low carbon content.
They are widely used in the chemical and food industry, shipbuilding, and various architectural constructions, ensuring high-quality welds and long-lasting durability.
