Pu-erh Red Tea 1 kg Leaf Bag from Yunnan Province
Pu-erh tea comes from the picturesque Yunnan province, known for producing some of the most "precious" teas worldwide. It is a fermented tea that undergoes a unique microbiological fermentation process, giving it a distinguished taste and aroma. This process involves harvesting the leaves, drying them, and then aging them under controlled conditions for many months or even years, making Pu-erh a unique tea with a deep, rich flavor.
Taste and Aroma: Pu-erh tea is characterized by an intensely earthy taste with notes of wood, nuts, and a slightly spicy sensation. Its aroma is deep, full, and unique, often compared to the scent of a damp forest after rain.

How to prepare Pu-erh tea? Boil fresh water and let it cool to about 90-95°C. Add approximately 2-3 grams of tea leaves per 150 ml of water in a teapot or gaiwan. Perform a quick first rinse lasting about 10 seconds, then discard the infusion (this rinses the leaves). The second infusion should last about 30-60 seconds, depending on your preferred strength. For subsequent infusions, gradually increase the steeping time by about 10-20 seconds. Pu-erh can be infused multiple times – each infusion reveals new flavor notes, inviting you to enjoy this exceptional tea.
