Golden Yunnan 1 kg - noble black tea

Ingredients: 100% Yunnan black tea. The tea comes from the mountainous Yunnan province located in China, near the borders with Vietnam, Burma, and Laos. The tea bushes are characterized by broad and fleshy leaves with a glossy surface. The infusion has a delicate flavor appreciated by tea lovers worldwide. Currently, the Yunnan region has about 200 local varieties, many of which are considered among the world's finest classic tea varieties. Yunnan Gold stands out with its cherry color and moderately-sized rolled leaves with the addition of "golden tips" of tea. It is distinguished by the large quantity of golden tips and an infusion with a refreshing, characteristic taste and strong aroma.

Note: The tea will be packed in a doypack type that includes a zipper, allowing for multiple resealings. The bag is hermetically sealed and light-resistant, ensuring the tea remains fresh and aromatic for a long time.

Black tea is what most people imagine when they think of a cup of tea. The majority (80%) of tea consumed worldwide is black tea. It is fully fermented and contains the highest amount of caffeine among all teas. The production of black tea involves four main phases: Withering – the harvested leaves are withered to prevent their surface from breaking during the rolling process. Rolling or twisting – during this process, the leaves emit a fruity aromatic note reminiscent of apples. Chemicals responsible for the final color and aroma of the tea are released into the rolled leaves. Fermentation – the rolled leaves are left for several hours to absorb oxygen, causing chemical changes that turn the color of the leaf from green to reddish-brown. Drying – the oxidized leaves are subjected to high temperatures to stop further natural decomposition, gaining their final black color and the characteristic aroma of tea.
