This review is about the edition: Day One

A highly anticipated release with, unfortunately, terrible flaws. After 60 hours of play and earning the game’s platinum trophy, I encountered countless game-ending bugs that significantly shook my overall experience. The naval combat is refreshed and very enjoyable, in contrast to the land combat, which is inadequate and almost outdated. The game fully includes the graphical features of its predecessor, so it is beautiful in terms of graphics—at least in the balanced mode of the PS5 Pro, where I played it.

It is the same game we loved, but with significant improvements in every way to suit the times. It deserves all 5 stars and more. It is a chance for younger players to play one of the best games in the franchise, and for us older fans (who it is probably aimed at) to relive our memories in our own Animus!

Having now finished Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced, I can say with confidence that this is an excellent job that brings out the game to the fullest.

Performance and Graphics: On the PS5 Pro, the visual upgrade is spectacular. The textures, lighting, water, and draw distance look fantastic.

Gameplay: The feel of the controls is extremely smooth, with immediate responsiveness and improved loading times that make the journey through the Caribbean a pleasure.

Technical Aspect: I encountered very few, minor bugs (mostly small glitches in the world), but they are negligible and in no way spoil the overall experience.

If you are looking for a title that combines nostalgia, top-tier gameplay, and truly makes use of the power of the console, the purchase is a must. It is worth every last euro!

Very good game and I believe one of the best pirate games if not the best. I should mention that I can't compare it with the old Black Flag because I haven't played it. The recynced really hooked me and I got platinum, very nice graphics, very good story, combat is good (although I have heard that in the original it was better). On the negative side, in terms of the open world it is very repetitive and generally with bugs Ubisoft will make you suffer a bit until it decides to release an update to fix things, meaning that in one month since release it has made 2 updates so any bugs you encounter you will have to put up with for quite some time. I spent 60 hours having a great time playing it and I would recommend it to anyone who likes pirates

Excellent remake with graphics, combat system strong for the old fans who know about Assassins; on the negative side, now you can't pay so much for skins, and the price is a bit steep

Excellent remaster. Graphics etc. are as one would expect in a modern game. The gameplay and the story remain the same as the old one. Anyone who hasn't played it should definitely do so, as it is one of the best AC games ever made. As for the old pirates....

60 euros for a remake? And extra money for skins, money, wood, stone, and the like?

    Stay away!

    Don't be a sucker!

This review is about the edition: Day One

I really love the original Black Flag, and here I can say I feel the same way, with a "but". The graphics are obviously better, there are some additions to cosmetics and some differences in the missions, as there are many quality of life improvements that make the gameplay a little more....2026. BUT for me the good things end there, the sound is poor for me, at least to my ears there is no improvement at all, the world sounds a little empty. Also, although the graphics have improved, it still has many visual bugs and in places it looks "cheap". The gameplay is not the same, it has become faster and some will like it and some won't, I personally wasn't blown away by the combat for example, which is not as smooth as in the original. Overall I recommend it and I love this game but don't expect a remake like Crash Bandicoot, it's more like The Last of Us Part II Remastered, if you catch my drift
