The ESAB EPR-X1.1 respiratory protection unit filters the air to protect against welding fume particles. Its dual-filter system includes a P3 HEPA filter and a pre-filter, while the spark arrestor protects the unit. The filter is replaced using the button on the front.

Airflow can be adjusted to three levels, and LED indicators show the status of the battery, airflow and filter. Visual, audible and vibratory alerts are activated if airflow or battery charge is low. The lithium battery provides up to 10 hours of runtime at the lowest airflow setting and recharges with the smart charger.
