Galileo Thermometer 28cm. Discovered by Galileo Galilei, this thermometer uses an impressive method of measuring temperature. A solid body with the same weight and size moves down as the temperature rises, while it goes up when the temperature drops. The glass bulbs have different weights and the lowest of those floating at the top of the cylinder indicates the correct temperature.
