Wiring diagram – 12V exit switch

• The exit switch operates as an NO (normally open) contact and is used for manual release of the electric lock or electromagnetic lock in access control systems.
• Connection:
• COM → +12V from the power supply
• NO → positive (+) of the electric lock
• – electric lock → ground (GND) of the power supply
• When the switch is pressed, the circuit closes and 12V voltage is momentarily applied to the electric lock, causing it to deactivate.
