Description

A collection of interviews with the current Prime Minister of Italy. A few weeks after taking office in the Italian government, Giorgia Meloni told journalist Alessandro Sallusti: "It is a shame that a sitting Prime Minister cannot consider writing a book to explain her plans." She replied, "And why shouldn't I?" Sallusti responded, "I'm not exactly sure, but there is probably a reason why no one has ever done it." She countered, "You must know that doing what everyone else has done is not exactly my specialty." Thus, the idea for this conversation was born. In "Giorgia's Vision," Giorgia Meloni reveals her authentic views on life and the world. It is a passionate narrative in which she faces the challenges of the present — from the war in Ukraine to the energy crisis, from ecological transition to inflation — and dares to focus on individual responsibility, free initiative, nature protection, targeted investments that promote growth and reduce debt, a Europe that plays a leading role in the world while being close to the needs of its citizens, and a "Matei Plan" capable of bringing opportunities and development to the Middle East and Africa. Through eleven interviews, Meloni positions herself as a transformative leader who advocates for strong governance and cultural preservation, blending personal anecdotes with broader political ambitions. "It is essential," Meloni tells Sallusti, "that Italians see a government that certainly has its limits and difficulties, and perhaps makes mistakes. But it gives everything, in good faith, with humility and love. A government that has no friends to place in positions, no lobby to please, no powerful people to reward. A government that satisfies no one, does not intend to deceive you, and has the courage to tell you what cannot be done at a specific moment or within a specific context."
