The Silver Plus type is used in the form of nanoparticles and does not cause allergic reactions, does not irritate the skin, and is non-toxic. The metal particles do not transfer from the fabric onto the skin. A very important property of this biostatic fabric is that it removes bacteria and addresses the common problem of mites. Although it does not eliminate them completely, it prevents their multiplication. These mites, tiny arachnids, often cause allergic reactions, e.g., shortness of breath, rhinitis, conjunctivitis. Silver Plus is also used for the treatment of skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis.
