The game can be played in two ways, either using a dry-erase marker or chips. Each player receives 5 chips of one color. The game is played on a board divided into 9 squares. The youngest player starts the game by placing their chip on a chosen square. Then, players take turns moving their chips to empty squares, trying to arrange them in a straight line – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – while at the same time trying to block the opponent from doing the same. Chips cannot be placed on squares that are already occupied by another player. The winner is the first to arrange their chips in a straight line.
The small size of the game makes it convenient and easy to carry anywhere.
