The ski’s construction is based on a very lightweight paulownia wood core, which, combined with the Aero Profile construction, optimizes the ski’s weight without sacrificing grip and dynamic skiing. Thanks to the unique construction, the sidecut, and the 80 mm waist width, the skis are easy to use and highly versatile. They perform well on relatively snowy surfaces as well as on hard snow when skiing on-piste.

The entire construction is reinforced with fiberglass, with emphasis on critical areas of the ski, making them torsionally stiff and sufficiently stable for off-piste skiing and climbs. The ESCAPER 80 skis are light enough to climb even fairly steep mountain summits.

The skis feature a V-skin notch at the tip for quick attachment of climbing skins. Special, pre-cut Escaper skins with product code ROLW108 are also available. These skins are made by the renowned company Pomoca and are made from 100% nylon.
