The correct cord is essential when making handmade candles, as it ensures uniform burning. This cord can be used for creating candles from natural wax, paraffin, stearic acid, and paraffin gel.

It can be used for:

• Standalone candles
• Chandelier candles

To use the cord, cut it to the desired length and attach it to a metal tab. Impregnating the cord is optional.

The appropriate diameter for each candle based on the cord choice is:

• N12 - for candles up to 40 mm in diameter
• N15 - for candles up to 45 mm in diameter
• N18 - for candles up to 45 mm in diameter
• N21 - for candles up to 50 mm in diameter
• N24 - for candles up to 50 mm in diameter
• N27 - for candles up to 55 mm in diameter
• N30 - for candles up to 60 mm in diameter
• N33 - for candles up to 60 mm in diameter

The above prices are approximate and have been tested with paraffin. It is reminded that candle burning is also influenced by:

• Type of raw material
• Quantity of dyes/aromatic oils
• The shape of the container or candle

The difference between N type cords and 3x... type cords lies in their construction, weaving, and the different yarns used. N type cords are universal, while 3x... type cords are mainly used in core/shell candles.
