Choosing the right wick is important when making handmade candles. The correct wick size ensures even burning of the candle. The cotton wick is made from high-quality cotton and has a flat shape. It is available in a paper bag.

Uses: Independent glass and ceramic creations, dipped candles

• Recommended use: Cut the wick to the desired length and secure it to a metal base.
• Ability to be immersed, although it is not necessary.

Suitable diameter for each candle

• N12 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 40 mm
• N15 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 45 mm
• N18 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 45 mm
• N21 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 50 mm
• N24 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 50 mm
• N27 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 55 mm
• N30 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 60 mm
• N33 - burns candles with a diameter of up to approximately 60 mm

The above values are approximate. Tests were conducted on paraffin. It should be noted that candle burning is affected by: the type of raw material, the amount of dyes/fragrance oils, as well as the shape of the container or candle. The difference between N-type wicks and 3x... type wicks lies in the design, braid, and use of different thread. N-type wicks are universal, while 3x... type wicks are mainly used in taper and pillar candles.
