CEMENTO – Decorative Effect Technique for Troweled Cement and Marble

Application Instructions:

• Surface Preparation: The surface must be smooth, clean, dry, and primed before application.
• First Coat: Apply a coat of CEMENTO with a roller, brush, or sponge. Before it dries, spread the material with a stainless steel trowel to create the decorative effect.
• Second Coat: After at least 4 hours, apply a second coat. Press the surface with the trowel as the material begins to dry to highlight the final effect.

Additional Protection & Waterproofing: For greater durability, apply a layer of Cera Veneziano with a sponge. After drying, polish with a cotton cloth.

• Application methods: Roller, brush, sponge, and stainless steel trowel
• Drying times (25°C, 50% RH):
  • Touch dry: approximately 30 minutes
  • Re-coating: after 4 hours
• Coverage: Approximately 8 m²/L per coat on smooth surfaces

Useful Tips:

• Clean tools immediately after application with water.
• Apply at temperatures from 5°C to 35°C.
• Avoid applying on very hot or very cold surfaces.
