The modular VCX-P-B + C surge protector, category T1 T2, is designed to protect medium voltage installations from the effects of inductive and alternating surges. It should be used as both the first and second level of protection in multi-level panels and sub-distribution panels. Protectors must be installed at points where electrical installations enter the building. They provide comprehensive protection for the electrical installation and the electrical devices powered by it, from lightning currents and other forms of surges. They reduce surges and divert surge currents to the ground for both types of surges – direct and indirect. At the same time, they offer two levels of protection. The use of modular VCX-B + C surge protectors category T1 T2 does not require the use of isolation. They provide effective protection for computers, RTV/household appliances, etc. They are equipped with a visual operation indicator (green – protection active, red – no protection). They have built-in thermal protection – no additional protection is required. If used, it is recommended to use fuses 250 A gG or 40 A type C.
