Description

The VCX Photovoltaic DC B+C 3P 1200V (T1T2) 25kA GDT is a recent and technically advanced product in the category of Lightning Protection Panels. It features a combination of varistors (MOV) on the DC+ and DC- models and a gas discharge tube (GDT) on the PE model, offering optimal protection parameters and effective elimination of the common varistor wear issue caused by leakage currents and operation. The increased operating voltage of 1200 V DC allows its use in demanding photovoltaic installations. Pulse current resistance at a total level of 25kA, i.e. Iimp (10/350) 12.5kA per pole, provides the highest level of surge protection.

In summary, the VCX-DC B+C 3P 1200V features:

  • Special high discharge varistor
  • Gas discharge tube (GDT) on the PE model
  • Patented disconnection system
  • Y-shaped base
  • Extremely precise and advanced internal structure

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Protection category: T1 T2
  • Version: VARIST-GAP-GAP (MOV+GDT+MOV)
  • Maximum connection: 35mm²
  • Maximum operating voltage: Ucpv 1200 V DC
  • Test current: In(8/20) 20 kA
  • Maximum current: Imax (8/20) 40 kA
  • Pulse current per pole: Iimp(10/350) 12.5 kA
  • Total pulse current: 25 kA
  • Voltage protection level: Up < 2.7 kV
  • Storage temperature: -30/+70°C
