Description

The Golden-yellow Helenium (Helenium hoopesii) is a beekeeping perennial plant that enthusiastically attracts bees and butterflies. The plant reaches a height of 60-70 cm and forms branched shoots covered with numerous golden-yellow flowers measuring 6 cm in diameter, with a distinctive brown center. It blooms abundantly from May to August, providing a wonderful decoration for the garden throughout the summer. Sowing is done directly in the ground from April to June or in the autumn, preferably in moderately moist and well-drained soil. The plant is frost-resistant, ideal for natural plantations, flower beds, and as a cut flower. It combines excellently with other perennials such as conifers and Black-eyed Susans, and is also suitable as a natural garden screen.
