When the young refugee girl Roi from Aydın in Asia Minor meets the forty-year-old Marika from Smyrna for the first time, she cannot imagine that an unshakable friendship will be born between them, one of those that marks an entire life. Roi, with her fiery hair and melodious voice, will gradually conquer the stage and find love in the face of the handsome and manly Agis.
