The redesigned Hollowtech II cranks feature a distinctive 4-arm spider design. The cranks are available in 2x10 and 3x10 versions. The new group can be paired with the HG500 cassette offering a wide gear range of 11-42T or with three other cassettes with smaller ranges: 11-36/34/32T.

The rear derailleur is equipped with a Shadow RD+ clutch, providing better chain retention and reducing unwanted friction on rough terrain, ensuring reliable gear shifts. Shifting is controlled by shifters in clamp-on and direct-mount I-Spec II versions, featuring Rapidfire Plus technology.

Additionally, there is the BL-M6000 lever that works with the BR-M6000 hydraulic disc brakes, where the design has been improved to address cooling issues.
