Ceramic-coated cast iron teapot Mayu with stainless steel filter, ideal for two to three cups of tea. Wazuku teapots are manufactured in Yamagata, Japan, by a company founded in 1604 and managed by the 15th generation of the same family. The word Wazuku indicates the highest quality and purity grade of the steel. Wazuku teapots are 25% lighter than other cast iron teapots.
Usage and maintenance instructions:
- Carefully rinse the teapot with warm water and immediately dry it with a towel.
- Never place the teapot directly on the fire, as the internal glaze may break. Heat the water in a separate vessel.
- To clean the teapot, do not use detergent or abrasive sponges; only use plain warm water. Avoid contact with salt or oil.
