The brake fluid tester is a compact measuring instrument that allows for quick measurement of the water content in brake fluid, regardless of the car model. Simply immerse the device’s electrodes in the brake fluid reservoir and read the indicator LEDs.

First Use: To measure fluid quality, turn on the device using the button on top. Then remove the lower cover and place the tip of the device (two plugs) into the brake fluid reservoir.

Reading the Device:

• A. Green LED: The brake fluid contains no water.
• B. Yellow LED: Less than 1% water in the system.
• B. Two yellow LEDs: 2% water in the system - Content within normal limits.
• C. Red LED: 3% water in the system - Fluid change recommended. The efficiency of the brake system has been reduced by half!
• C. Two red LEDs: More than 4% water in the system - THE BRAKE FLUID MUST BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY!

Maintenance: If the green LED does not light up when you press the button on top of the device, replace the battery. If the red LEDs are flashing, the battery needs to be replaced. Clean the measuring probes under running water after each use.
