Corrective elements and properties of the main ingredient – watercress sprouts:

Watercress (Lepidium sativum) is a fast-growing annual garden plant with an upright stem up to 60 centimeters tall. It originates from Iran (Persia) and was known to the Egyptians and Romans. In ancient times, it was used for its beneficial properties to calm the nervous system and improve sleep. Great healers like Hippocrates recommended its consumption. Today, it is used in the kitchen for salads and as an addition to sandwiches. It pairs well with egg dishes and cottage cheese, while flavoring soups and sauces. Its taste is fresh and reminiscent of horseradish. Young sprouts contain much higher amounts of nutrients compared to mature plants and can be considered a superfood.

Watercress sprouts are rich in B vitamins, provitamin A, ascorbic acid, mustard essential oils, calcium, potassium, iodine, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, sulfur, and copper. They are used to regulate weight, improve metabolism, reduce blood pressure, cleanse the body of toxins, and remove excess fluids (as a diuretic).

Ingredients: 100% watercress seeds *organic farming product Recommended use:

At home, sprouts are prepared as follows: Take a flat plate and cover it with gauze or other absorbent material. Spread the seeds in a single layer over the gauze and moisten with preferably boiled, warm water. Keep the gauze always moist. Place the seeds in a warm, preferably dark place. Depending on the plant type, sprouts appear after 2-4 days. For larger seeds like peas, soy, or chickpeas, sprouts should be cut before consumption, while small seeds are used whole.
