Το όργανο διαθέτει καπάκι από μασίφ έλατο Sitka (Solid Sitka Spruce) με επεξεργασία ακουστικής παλαίωσης A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) και σώμα από μασίφ ινδικό παλίσανδρο (Solid Rosewood) στην πλάτη και τα πλαϊνά. Μέσω δύο εσωτερικών διεγερτών (actuators), παράγει ψηφιακά εφέ Reverb, Chorus και Delay απευθείας από το ηχείο χωρίς εξωτερικό ενισχυτή. Ενσωματώνει λειτουργία ψηφιακού looper με επιφάνεια αφής στο καπάκι, ασύρματη συνδεσιμότητα Bluetooth 5.0 Audio και επαναφορτιζόμενη μπαταρία ιόντων λιθίου με μαγνητική φόρτιση. Tonewood Selection & A.R.E. Aging Technology

The Yamaha TAG1 C is based on the body dimensions of a Dreadnought with Cutaway, offering high acoustic volume, generous internal body volume, and a balanced low-frequency response. The top is made from solid Sitka spruce and treated using A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), a thermal and humidity-controlled process. This process modifies the molecular structure of the wood’s cellulose, recreating the acoustic properties of an instrument that has been played for decades. 

Second-Generation TransAcoustic Technology & Built-In Effects

Two electromagnetic actuators are installed inside the body, converting processed digital signals into physical mechanical vibrations directly on the instrument’s soundboard. This process produces Reverb (Room, Hall), Chorus and Delay effects directly from the natural wooden body, without requiring a connection to an external amplifier, pedalboard or audio interface. The piezoelectric sensor accurately captures the strings’ vibrations and routes them to the digital signal processor (DSP), which delivers high dynamic clarity and immediate tone adjustment.

Built-in Looper & Bluetooth Connectivity

The instrument features a built-in digital Looper system, allowing acoustic phrases to be recorded and layered (overdubbed) in real time. The circuit is controlled via a discreet touch sensor (Tap Sensor) located on the upper part of the guitar top, providing instant loop start, stop, and erase functions. Meanwhile, Bluetooth 5.0 Audio turns the guitar’s speaker into a wireless audio receiver, allowing music tracks or backing tracks to be played directly through the instrument’s body. Settings management, effects calibration, and storage of up to 10 loop files are handled through the companion TAG Remote app.

5-Piece Neck Ergonomics, Ebony Components & Power Supply

The neck consists of a 5-ply mahogany and rosewood construction, ensuring high structural rigidity and resistance to warping caused by fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The fingerboard and bridge are made of solid ebony (Solid Ebony), providing a smooth playing surface and resistance to mechanical wear. The nut and saddle, made of natural bone (Bone), ensure direct energy transfer from the strings to the soundboard. The electronics are powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery offering up to 5.5 hours of operation, which charges externally via a magnetic charging connector. Tuning is supported by Open Gear Champagne-Gold tuners with a precise gear ratio.
