Convex provides a warranty for the door mechanism, guaranteeing it withstands 200,000 open-close cycles without damage. An additional 10-year surface resistance warranty against oxidation is offered on all products or parts thereof where the final coating is chrome.
In November 2010, Convex was certified for the implementation of its own system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. It collaborates with accredited laboratories for oxidation resistance testing in salt spray chambers based on the EN 1670:2007 standard. It also works with the Italian laboratory LAPI for door handle fire resistance testing in a controlled environment based on the EN 1634-2:2008 standard.
It has adopted the use of the BS EN 1906:2012 standard: Building hardware - Lever handles and knob handles.
