The converter is designed for charging laptops with a 6.0x3.7 mm + pin connector, using a universal power supply with a USB Type-C plug. A USB-C power supply compatible with the Power Delivery (PD) system and with power not less than that required by the connected laptop is required.

Since most ASUS laptops with this connector are gaming models, they often require more than 100W of power. The maximum power of USB-C power supplies at 20V is 100W. Therefore, this converter should not be considered a full replacement for the original power supply for gaming models.
